Japan Missions Updates - 6/26/26

Good afternoon everyone!
We are back in the United States and are currently with Jenn’s family in North Las Vegas. Our family will return to Alabama on July 8th and we will be back at The Grove Sunday, July 12th.

Last week in Okinawa was a great time overall. A major highlight was that Jenn was able to share the gospel with her cousins ex-wife. What a blessing this was! She had asked Jenn some questions about our desire to serve long-term in Okinawa and this naturally led into an opportunity for the gospel. Please pray for her and her family’s salvation.

Another highlight was in an opportunity to share about The Lord with a homeless man. Our family came out of a convenience store one afternoon and a man speaking in Japanese only asked for help. Logan went into the store and bought him a bottle of water. After coming back outside and giving the man the water, Logan used Google Translate to share about The Lord with the man. The man held out his hand after and Logan grabbed it and prayed over him. Please pray for this mans salvation.

Our family was in much prayer throughout our time in Japan and Okinawa both for the Lost and for God’s will in our lives. It has been an honor and a privilege to be among the Japanese, our brothers and sisters in Christ and in being a witness for The Lord. We look forward to serving long-term in Japan but need prayer for God’s timing and His provision.

We continue to hope these posts have been an encouragement to everyone and we can’t say enough thank you’s for all the support we have been given. This trip could not have happened without our family and brothers and sisters in Christ!

In Service to the King,

Logan, Jennifer, Lucas and Lucy Goolsby

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you, and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
