Japan Missions Updates - Good morning from Hiroshima

Good morning from Hiroshima!
We have been in Japan over 5 days now and are wrapping up our time in the city of Hiroshima. It has been an eventful week and there’s much to say! A recent and consistent prayer of our family has been “Lord help us to be people after Your own heart who will do all of Your will everyday.”

This past Sunday we attended Asaminami Chapel with our Japanese brothers and sisters and Pioneers team members. The service was exclusively in Japanese and the Pastor taught from The Gospel of John. One of the Pioneers team leaders was able to translate some of the message for us as we listened. There were some Japanese-English speakers in attendance and we were able to build some relationships.

Our family spent a few days with the Pioneers Hiroshima team and built relationships with them. The time together included prayer walking at the Peace Memorial Atomic Bomb Dome, a prayer and fellowship picnic overlooking the city of Hiroshima, team meetings and visiting the island of Miyajima. Our time with the Pioneers Team has been very valuable as we learn more about how we serve alongside the Japanese church and what that looks like with our family.

Much prayer has gone up as we traveled through the various parts of Hiroshima. Transportation has been primarily through taxi’s and Logan shared the gospel with several of the drivers in Japanese by Google Translate. The people are extremely kind and value harmony but live in spiritual darkness and need The Lord Jesus Christ.

Please pray for the lost in Japan to come to know our Lord and that all of His will for this trip would be done.

Today we will be heading to the city of Fukuoka by bullet train. We will post again next week. Many blessings friends and we hope this message finds you well!

In Service to the King,

“After He had removed him, He raised up David to be their king, concerning whom He also testified and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do all My will.”
